Burned Once, Intel Prepares New Chip Fortified by Constant Tests

Intel has spent months testing its new microprocessor at its lab in Hillsboro, Ore. The chip, Nehalem, goes on sale Monday.




While Intel’s Core i7 microprocessor has received glowing reviews, there is good reason for caution.
